Finally an appropriate time to use Kizuna Kaiser! Lowji even got the blue console! And the go-to "chuck it into space" maneuver! Which in the process totally destroyed this setting's religion! Just a typical day for Red!
What Sentai anime would be complete without it's colorful villains? I can't wait until we meet the Royal Demons.
Teltina has so much layers. She's fun and has good vibes most of the time but when she sees the source of a personal pain to her she gets completely serious and will risk everything to stop them. And then get flustered over seeing her knight boyfriend shirtless.
Well, Shau'ha is a very pleasant and reasonable person. I really hope they don't just let her keep being a condescending jerk to Yihdra without getting called out on it or Yihdra proving herself. Though I know Teltina had her suspicions about her but I can't really see why she'd save them and stop Abudabi if she was really working with the Royal Demons (even if her powers involve Cthulu tentacles). But she probably is guilty of hoarding the magic for the aristocracy.
So I take it probably around Turn 47 or 48 was when Kizuna Silver died (kind of a bummer the first time we see the suit in animation it's of her getting run through). Did Red have this berserker state from back then or after this happened or is it part of the Isekai experience?

I also think the sword has the colors of the Kizuna Five on its hilt. And the past Hero kind of looks like Red?

its more or less a given that red got a berserker state from his flashback!
he's like every hero before him. when a friend dies in front of them, it always turns into a fight of rage

This was by far my favorite episode of the show thus far. It has been fine to this point, but the way the world really expands with the proper introduction of the villains, learning that Red isn't the first person to come here from, presumably, Earth, getting to meet Yhdra's rival, as well as some great moments for both Teltina and Lowji. My main complaint is that Yihdra has felt very much secondary for a lot of the action lately. She's there and supporting, but not in a super big way. With Shau'ha showing up though I do think she'll get a fair bit more focus with the coming episode. Also, I was fully expecting Shau'ha to be evil, but that doesn't really seem to be the case. Just mostly just a bit of an asshole. But yea, this episode was really good and I'm excited to see where we go from here.

Isn't the Tower a research facility, not a school?
Good episode. Red pushing down Yidhra from flight was funny and Yidhra pushing him down later was good; I don't think they actually BANSOU GATTAId, though. Red warning Lowji was surprisingly serious. I wonder what kind of face he made there.

Yes, and we didn't really spend much time there nor was it the focus. Even if it'd been a school, It was just the backdrop for the princess to get healed and the arguement over the use of magic tools.

I was not expecting Shau'ha to actually have legitimate, reasonable, points. I mean, she's still stuck-up, elitist, and condescending but still far more nuanced than you would expect from Yihdra's rival.
I'm glad Red and Yihdra's relationship is actually progressing. Yihdra realized her feelings, literally summoned him into the bath, and got some intimate BOND-MERGING or "research" down while wearing very little in the way of clothing. And to Red's credit, he seems very conscious of her as a woman now.
Red seems like he's got some real trauma bubbling to the surface.
Lowji: "Heaven may not be real, but space is cooler."
Teltina's dad seems cool but her brother is definitely going to be a problem down the line. I'm also guessing her other brother whom she seems to have reinvented herself as to be like was killed by the Mana Seeds.

I'm pretty sure it was only once. His disappearing in front of Lowji was just seeing the incident from his pov.
The Tower Court and Abudabi seem to shop at the same Parisian clown boutique. Hmmm...

pretty clear that red is one of those heroes who would rather die instead of seeing another friend gets killed in front of him.
he's basically a teenage version of helck. minus the hatred for humans!

I was satisfied enough with just a sincere story about a Sentai Red ranger in an Isekai setting but then they had to throw in a busty female Kamen Rider with a belt sharing the same voice as the Decadriver. This is just one big tokusatsu tribute Isekai series.
Also, this is all Decade's fault. Onore, Dikeido!!!!
I'm so used to "desert outfits = showing more skin" that seeing Yihdra exchange her skirt for pants was kind of surreal. She and Teltina looked amazing though.
Red put a bandaid on it! And Yihdra unsurprisingly freaks out! Also, I just love actual Kizuna 5 merch being a thing.
Teltina's legs are a national treasure Lowji, so good work.
Raniya is fun. She's not only a Masked Rider but she wears the mask of a warrior when she's really just a bashful maiden. Talk about your gap moe! Also, Haruka Shiraiashi!
I didn't know Yihdra's butt could double as bongo's.
Well, confirmation that there wasn't any kind of BONG-MERGER going on between Red and Yihdra...but they have weaponized Yihdra's feelings for Red to let her basically summon him to her. All the easier to help him Princess Carry her!
Looks like we're getting more lore about the original Hero and how it pertains to Red's world. If the prophet was possibly Kizuna Silver, could the original Amen Rider, or the Amen Buckle, have been from a Kamen Rider world?
Makoto Furukawa is the main baddie here? Cool.

highly doubt amen was from a kamen rider world!
and from the way the ep ended with the silouehete, its more probable that the prophet was the silver ranger, but that would be seriously effed up!
first getting isekai into a fantasy world, found a way to return only to end up getting killed in front of red?
that right there is the definition of the term, getting effed by fate itself.

Man the toku outfits in this show are super clean. I was already a fan of Kizuna Red, but Amen just looks really freaking cool. Also, as someone who grew up with Yugioh I'm always down for Egyptian themed anything. Also, a female rider is such a rarity it's weird that the series went for one. Or it would be if it wasn't obvious why anime often have such large female cast. I wasn't thinking too hard on the world build, but it is really cool how the series is playing with traditional elves by putting them in a cacti forest. I only started watching this because I'm a big toku fan and because Yihdra is cute, so I wasn't expecting TOO much from it. These last several episodes though have done a lot to really sell me on it and I've become really excited to see where things go from here. We're probably only going to scratch the surface of the series with the anime, so I really hope it's doing well so we can get more eventually.

thats cause those two are indeed bonifide tsunderes. its unlikely anything will progress further between red and yihdra unless something near fatal happens to one of them

Red's backstory feels like a more comical take on the tragic Kamen Rider Black

That surprise crossover cameo of Aquarion popping in and performing an infinity punch and then the team all saying it looked strangely familiar and Red saying it reminded him of something from 12,000 years ago. I cracked up!
I suppose crossover’s are a Tokusatsu staple.

No mention about all the ridiculous cameos in the flashback episode, I think Grant might be a toku poser!
Joking aside, while a lot of them flew over my head, even I noticed a few of them, but most of all, SOLAR AQUARION SHOWED UP FOR LIKE TWO SECONDS TO SAVE THE DAY OUT OF NOWHERE!? This is particularly funny as Studio Satelight which does the animation for Red Ranger Isekai is also responisble for Aquarion and newer Macross shows, and Shoji Kawamori definitely designed Bond Killer's giant robot form, so Aquarion just BEING there was really hilarious.
I also loved Yihdra getting jealous over Red talking to another woman, but later getting invested in the story was pretty funny to me. I saw the repeated return of Bond Killer as a reference to the writers of the show bringing back a popular rival character to try and capture the ratings bump with diminishing returns. That kind of meta humor is what makes the Toku bits really land for me.
