The series was slated to come back in the 42nd issue, and yet it didn't, so this is actually a continuation of the latest hiatus. Hopefully it really will be resumed in the 49th issue.

Just an fyi ANN, Denpa is currently publishing Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji (pt 1) while the current iteration is Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji: 24 Oku Dasshutsu-hen (pt 6) - which is the one that is on hiatus - and to put into perspective that's 27 years apart between the two

Didn't come back in the 49th issue of Young Magazine, at least I think so because I looked at the table of contents for the sample of the issue and there wasn't any mention of Kaiji, only the Ootsuki spin-off
