When I first read 'Girls caught in dangerous game' I thought that this would be uh....not so good. But the trailer seemed promising. And it's Mari Okada who made Nagi no Asukara. My problem is that I have loads of shows to watch in Spring and I'm not sure I'll have time for this...

So the point of the show is to market a CCG. Yeah I'll pass.

Two great minds with an equal amount of flawed potential. Here's hoping this works out positively for them!
By that, I mean Sato's work is either really well-organized and adapted (Steins;Gate), or it doesn't work at all (NieA_7, CodeE, many parts of Ichigo Marshmellow).
And Okada Mari's work is either really well-dramatized and heart-wrenching (AnoHana, Gosick, AKB0048, Hanasaku Iroha) or overly dramatized and over-the-top (Black Rock Shooter TV series, Fractale, parts of Aquarion Evol).
I'm a fan of both, so I look forward to at least checking this out.

Whoa, that concept sounds interesting tbh and it looks like this will be an original anime work.
Definitely looking forward to this. I just hope JC Staff will be able to pull it off.

I'm conflicted... I typically love Mari Okada stuff but the trailer looks terrible.. its like its trying too hard to be edgy. I'll probably skip it.

Maybe it's just me, but the character's noses kind of bother me.

You're not alone, it was the first thing I noticed when looking at the promo art. Also since this seems to be and original (even though it appears to be promoting something coming out soon...), I'll probably keep an eye out for it. Time will tell until people on the internet either supports the show or just trashes it.

I get they are going for "young girls have small noses" and are trying to emphasize it and I agree it isn't working as planned, however it doesn't really bother me on its own to turn me away completely.

when I first saw the synopsis, I thought "Red Garden with young girls", but then when I read about the card game I said "commercial". The noses look like a Disney anamorphic for dogs.

Hmm, cautiously optimistic. Mari Okada tends to be a real hit or miss.

Definitely intrigued. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. I actually really liked the promo art and video.

The trailer has me hooked, especially if it keeps towards a darker tone. I didn't notice anything wrong with the characters noses in the video, though in the art image included in the article, they definitely look strange. I just hope the quality of the production and story are close to, if not on par, with Steins;Gate.

Definitely this. The darker the better. I've been suckered into a lot of series lately that appeared dark initially, but ended up being just another cliche drama/comedy.
