FYI, you can't buy any kind of electronics from Amazon.jp if you don't live in Japan. The iTunes cards are classified as "electronics."

What Apple really should do is make all iTunes account global, but i guess there would be to much paperwork involved

The biggest problem is that most of the companies they're dealing with do not hold the worldwide distribution license for the music they're selling.

I'm getting that sinking feeling that I get whenever somebody loud is about to ruin it for the rest of us.

Well, this might be old news, but ANN isn't saying it just happened or anything.
I guess they just wanted to notify anime fans who don't already know this.
Now, the tricky part is actually finding anything on iTunes Japan if you can't read Japanese.

But why give us a link we can't even use (Amazon)
Anyway, I don't follow the iTunes stores at all, but apparently things are starting to pop up in the American store. I think the release of all of Amuro Namie's single songs is the latest big thing. What I really want though is access to all the stuff you can download onto your cellphones in Japan. There are some huuuuge exclusives

Lime Wire? People are still using that, the amount of virus one could get off that is pretty insane. Are Itunes Japan music still encoded with that magic DRM? Personally I rather import CD then deal with DRM, because if your machine takes a dive then your screwed......I know Apple (and other companies) want to protect themselves but isn't there some other way?

Thats FUD, Limewire contains many viruses, but I've encountered none while searching for audio.
