I was just reading the reviews on it and most votes were in favour of Good so I was wondering if it's a good show. I am a huge fan of the game so I was wondering if the show would be good for me or does it suck?

It's pretty repetitive and has neither great animation nor great music(ok in both respects). A lot of moves are done WAY too often and the story isn't all that great. That said, I liked it cause it was just fun seeing ragnarok as an anime. I like and am actually playing the game right now(like my 5th or 6th time doing so), watched the anime somewhere around a year+ ago. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they had played the game, that's for sure. Even then, it's kind of a so-so watch.

It's obvious the anime is just riding on the coat tails of a popular game, but still, it was neat to see everything when you love the game and are familiar with it.(Don't expect too perfect of a transition of course.)

I used to play ragnarok online so I thought I would check it out but it was pretty bad, although I stopped watching it at around episode 6. Basically they just put all the ideas (spells, towns, classes, monsters) from RO into an anime, with very little storyline. In the game it works, but in an anime a lot of the things are kind of awkwardly animated.

I tried watching it. It wasn't bad exactly, but I just didn't care enough about the characters to keep watching. Especially after the part where they flashback to Ma-chan's past as an orphan: she tries to sell apples to make some money in the merchant town, but because she didn't get a liscense for it, a couple men drag her into an ally and beat her. That was just too ridiculous for me to accept, so I gave up.

Its been a while since i watched it, but I thought it was one of the best series that I have seen in a long time. Also having played the game just hightens the appeal of the anime, its kinda cool seeing the same spells that you cast in the game portraied in the anime (Lord of Vermillion). The characters a fairly well developed although I will say that they switch personalitys a little to fast, and the story is pretty solid. All in all i would say to definetly get this series.
