Those glorious KyoAni visuals in 480p with piss colored font. Times like this I wish Crunchy had a monopoly...

Darn it, was really hoping Chūnibyō would show up on crunchyroll, since I'm already a subscriber there. Ah well, can't get them all I guess.

Laughing
What?
You do realize that all of their simulcasts have an SD/HD option right? HD being 720p.

All of the series mentioned are TBS licenses, and they've never been streamed on Crunchyroll before. Wasn't too surprised about this.

So, does this mean that the supposed Sentai-Cruncyroll partnership is fiction?

I was so looking forward to watching Chuunibyou on Crunchyroll too.

Maybe the contracts for some shows don't allow for it. As Justin educationally conveyed to us, every contract for a series is going to be different.

I'm guessing you are not a premium subscriber, since TAN provides 720p to subscribers.

So only subscribers will have access to episodes 2-12? Well, guess that's one less show I'll be watching this season.

I believe their free shows, which the ones streaming in November will be, offer HD to everyone. Non-subscribers just get Hulu ads.

As for CR, a few of these titles are delay-casts and won't be starting until November. It's possible that CR may be simulcasting those and just hasn't announced them yet. After all, they have accidentally leaked a few Sentai licenses in the past, so it's possible TAN and Sentai got announce them first this time.

I'm sort of surprised we haven heard anything about Little Busters yet. I can't imagine Sentai at least inquiring into that. Of course, if they are going after it, they may not have been able to secure a simulcast.

LB was asked about at AWA.
Though I'm sure they'll go after it, especially considering between ADV/Sentai, they've picked up all of the Key stuff thus far, but as of this moment, it doesn't look like they have it.

remember just because Anime network has anime, it doesn't mean CR can't stream it too.
It happens many time that both company stream the same anime.
