They're putting too much effort into this for it just to be a limited run in LA and NYC only. They will want to make theater run revenue on a wide scale, right, nationwide? I like seeing films on the big screen, so I sure hope that happens. How will they market the film when it's decidedly not in the young children range, and is thematically and visually closer to Whisper of the Heart and certainly less whimsical than Miyazaki senior's films. What were the reactions to Arrietty, while sitll taking into the consideration the sense of wonder and fantasy that film still intrinsically possessed?

That's very interesting, we got Ron Howard and now Gillian Anderson is now part of the cast. I wonder who else is going to join the cast.

So Disney's not interested in dubbing Poppy Hill, huh? Looks like they want to focus more on Pixar, Marvel, and their own in-house animated movies. If that's the case then we might see Disney and Ghibli break up their partnership in a few years (which will NOT be good for Disney if that ever happens, although if it does happen, Ghibli could probably get a new partnership with Funimation).

Well, Anderson was pretty good as Moro in Princess Mononoke. I always wondered why she didn't do more VA work.
