Internationally-renowned Video Game Voice Actress Laura Faye Smith at the Nadeshicon Festival
QUÉBEC (QC), February 14th 2025 – Nadeshicon welcomes Laura Faye Smith to its
next edition, to be held March 28-30, 2025 at the Quebec City Convention Centre. This
American voice actress is known for her roles in video games such as Super Mario and
Genshin Impact.
The announcement of this guest is excellent news for both dubbing and video game fans
in Quebec City. “Welcoming Laura Faye Smith is an opportunity to delve into the world of
internationally acclaimed video games. When it comes to Japanese culture, the impact
of Mario Bros on every generation cannot be overlooked. It's with great pride that we
welcome her among us,” says Marie-Pier Touzin, Festival Marketing Director.
Activities planned during the Festival
Laura Faye Smith will give a talk on her experience in dubbing. She will also take part in
a panel discussion to answer questions from festival-goers. During her visit to the
festival, autograph sessions will be organized. Moreover, festival-goers who attend will
be entitled to a free autograph and photo each, as time permits.

Since 2013, Ms. Smith has lent her voice to Rosalina, the Comet Observatory guardian
from Nintendo's Super Mario series. She has also voiced Kana from Fire Emblem,
Noelle from Genshin Impact and Death from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The
voice actress also took part in the popular anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone
Ocean. In addition to her dubbing activities, Laura Faye Smith has also appeared in
