I watched the first few episodes of this and liked it, but for some reason never continued watching it. Maybe I'll get this and finish what I started.

I liked this series a lot (Ayahi Takagaki >.<) until the last 2 or 3 episodes where it turned into complete BS

Woot! Woot! Woot! I know a lot of people didn't like this series, but I dug it. And getting the NISA BD premium treatment? Niiiiiiiiice.

Same here. I watched the first couple of episodes, liked it, and then stopped watching. NIS is bringing me a new reason to continue.

'Bout time this one got licensed; I was starting to wonder why it was being overlooked. While not spectacular, it is a solid and fun view complemented by some good artistry.

There is no question in my mind that this was the best of the Anime no Chikara titles. I hope they market it as an Occult Comedy, because that really is what it is. The series rambled a little bit, as they tried to parody everything from Mothman to UFO sightings, but they did a pretty good job of it at times, and, surprisingly, the series does wrap up in a sensible way at the end. I think one can fairly criticize the series for being unfocussed in the middle, but it had some great moments, and a few really cool characters (Keytars FTW).

Yeah, I liked the series when it was streaming fresh on Crunchyroll, but the ending episodes really hurt the experience. I don't feel any real need to watch it again, let alone buy it.

I loved this series. Funny and hilarious with some great characters, like the fat occult otaku guy and the badass janitor. And Maya was easily the hottest girl of that season, and the camera seemed to know it given it always loved to focus on her legs oddly enough.

This is probably a whole lot cheaper to license than Bakemonogatari.

It turned out to be a pretty lame series through the middle, but it's still extremely watchable for delicious Maya. Nice pickup, they can market it as Ghostbusters/Scooby Doo anime.

Obligatory: Whoop-de-doo. NIS will somehow survive without your sale.

Like a lot of people here, I started watching it, but got distracted by something else so I never finished it. And apparently some people who did watch it all the way through got turned off by the ending. Hmm. That box is mighty purdy though...
