Totally bitchin! I really want to get this now since I am terrible at CG and poses in general.

Potentially pretty cool. I see a lot of lazy stuff coming out of this, but I also see the possibility of build-it-yourself kits that let you build creatures and things to be used for easy peasy stop motion/3DCG fun (which is what I'd use it for). Anime hyper

Wow if they can keep this thing's price around the $200-300 range I'll have to seriously consider it. Not much of a CG motion kind of person, but this could definitely help with design projects like mecha costumes; useful especially to accurately peg down the freedom of movement on simple CG drafts or modifying some pre-existing models.

... Plus the thing is a neat looking figure on it's own. Just wondering if giving it something like Kamen Rider style eyes would mess with the sensor(s) in the head real bad.

As a person who is very familiar with 3d CG - I am mild sceptical.
If it costs more than 200$ - It's not worth it.
By the look of it: animating character movement would be a pain in "youknowwhere"
Character animation with biped is already pretty easy.

Anyway!
I don't see it as some kind cutting edge tool, that every animator will use in the future.
But!
If it costs less than 100$ - i'll buy it, as a fun gadget - not some advanced animating tool.

This is gonna be like when Flash first came out, and everybody thought they could do animation. Oh how we loved those early Flash animations! Laughing
