It was pretty obvious that synopsis was made to get a reaction out of people.. I mean ffs c'mon it's a TV ANIME not a HENTAI OVA. And for the most part, the synopsis of anime is pretty much worthless these days... hey looks its ANN's plot summary for Eva 2.0, I know nothing about the show so lets read it. Under constant attack by Angels, NERV introduces two new pilots: the mysterious Makinami Mari Illustrous and the intense Asuka Langley Shikinami. Parallel to the incursion, Gendo Ikari and SEELE proceed the secret project that involves both Rei and Shinji. Wow that sounds boring! No need to watch that. |

Eva 2.22's summary clearly relies on the fact that the reader read the other synopsis of the series. So, I don't think it stands as a good example in this case.
But yeah, the best thing you could ever do is either read forum comments, read detailed reviews (not just bloody scores), or watch it yourself. I usually do the last because I don't like to have a pre-made opinion of anything. |

That's the point, summary's are worthless, especially summaries that are two sentences long trying to explain what a show is about in the beginning.
Applying to skin =! drinking. Or have you been watching some hentai and got it mixed up Mr Rancorous? |

The summary said "consume". Maybe the summary is wrong, but you can't blame us for thinking that she must "drink" it in order to "consume" it.

Well, CR is simulcasting Gintama and Hanasuka Iroha, that's two titles out of the 13 they have in the lineup.

The subicus one sounds pretty sick (10?
 ) to me even if it is meant to be a joke if not it would just be worse. So it gos on the list of shows that I ignore.
Kampfer 2 looks OK. For the rest I will wait and see. |

Awesome  , CrunchyRoll will be streaming both Deadman Wonderland and Gintama 2011  .
Which means I will be able to watch them in 480p, instead of 360p or 400p. |

Wow, 3.5-4 (?) things of interest to me this upcoming season! That's gotta be a record for the last couple years.
I'm not proud but this is what I do when looking at a new season. If the pic has a giant-eyed cutesy girl and/or unlikely breasts featured prominently in the art I write it off instantly (no offense to those of you who do like that but I know it will not interest me). That leaves a lot less titles to sift through.  As AWO's Daryl Surat says (paraphrase), you can totally judge an anime by its cover and I have to say I generally agree with him.
Anyway, I'll obviously be watching Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi (if it's anything like Junjou Romantica by the same manga-ka I'll be happy); Sex Pistols OVA 2; and Ao no Exorcist and Toriko look sorta interesting. I know the first two are the only ones I'm guaranteed to watch in their entirety (especially the OVA, obviously) but I hope the latter two (and some other overlooked titles I'll hear about via word-of-mouth) will end up being worthwhile. I'd be more interested Kaiji s2 if I ever get around to watching s1 (which is, let's face it, unlikely). And while Tono to Issho: Gantai no Yabou looks like it could be fun, I don't know Japanese history that well and most of the jokes would probably fly right by me. |
