Plot Summary:
Kuno purchases a strange egg, believing that the mysterious powers of the legendary Phoenix will help him defeat Ranma. But when the egg hatches on his head, the bird goes out of control and wreaks havoc all over Tokyo. Ranma and the gang must use any means necessary to get the Phoenix to leave Kuno's head and fly away.

First shown in Japan at the Toei/Shogakukan Animation Festival in 1994 alongside the films Ghost Sweeper Mikami and Heisei Dog Stories: Bow. Released by Viz as part of the Ranma 1/2 OAV series due to its short running time. The domestic video release title is a parody of the 1976 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
