A Bride's Story's Amira and Karluk

In the above photo, unidentified cosplayers portray Amira and Karluk from the manga series, A Bride's Story. Taking place in the 19th century, the manga tells the story of Amira, a woman skilled in archery and horsemanship, who must marry a boy from a distant village named Karluk. They live a peaceful life, until one day Amira's family demands the return of their daughter.
The photograph was taken at Cingjing Farm in Nantou County, Taiwan.
