Wolfsmund is a maybe, but it might be too gory and dark. I'll wait for reviews from the blogosphere and ANN.

Very pleased to hear that Gundam Origin will be getting a second chance. I enjoyed the incomplete Viz run a lot. The TV series looks like a rough draft next to it. This seems to happen every time one of Tomino's works gets a revision, actually.

I'll give it a try. I never looked at Viz's attempts.

I haven't even heard of Wolfsmund. I have no idea whether I'd like it, or not, so I'll glance at it and then decide.

I agree. Also, it's pretty safe to say Vertical will finish it.

Never had the interest nor inclination to check out the Gundam franchise, but I'll wait for reviews to see if maybe this will be a decent start and could be read as a stand-alone story. Then again 23 volumes in hardback for a franchise I'm not really into is a bit of a hard sale, first volume would really have to grab me.

Wolfsmund looks sort of interesting, and I might actually like it. Though if it is only a series of stand alone chapters with no real continuing characters the series better be short because I don't think that sort of format works over longer series.

So nothing I'm going to immediately preorder the moment Amazon has a listing for it, but I will keep an eye out for when the reviews for the series first come out.

Actually it's ten volumes in hardcover. 23 volumes of the paperback are combined to make the set.

actually there is a continuing story. The story is about William Tell and his crusade against the Wolfsmund.
