One has to hope it won't be as raunchy as Asu no Yoichi! if the main character is a girl...whose skirt actually covers her underpants...

It goes without saying less is more in some cases. In this case, less would be moe in this case.

I watched and read Bamboo Blade in the past. Not a bad show/manga, but really nothing that exciting either. The anime is better than the manga because Funimation made it hilarious, but even with a great dub, it's just decent for me.

As for Asu No Yoichi, I don't know how to describe this series. And that is really all I have to say about that.
