Huh. So this one actually has the potential to be a pretty fun watch, unlike that other SF Isekai adaptation with a very similar title that just got announced (which seems unfortunate). I'd say it's very comparable to The Eminenece in Shadow, both in terms of the overall style of the novel a d the potential of the adaptation to really elevate the material. So a lot's down to how well directed and animated this thing will be, but even a pretty basic adaptation would produce something watchable, similar to Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs.
It's basically a LoGH parody based on a dense main-character constantly misunderstanding things (and being misunderstood). It's got mechs, spaceships, sword fights, androids and fanservice -- but no real romance or harem elements. Doubt it'll knock anyone's socks off, but definitely worth a try. So, personally, I'm optimistic. |
