Wow, talk about an icon. Just reading the words "DBZ ocean dub narrator" causes me to hear his voice in my head. RIP, Doc.

His voice and narration was one of the best parts of the original DBZ dub. Thanks Doc for all you have done.

RIP

His voice was stuck in my head since the 90s so much that the main data drive on my PC has for years been named "Last time on Dragonball (Z: )"

RIP to a true voice legend!

It's so sad to lose him. Ocean is so underrated now that Funimation established itself to be THE English version.

I'm not a DBZ fan and have never seen any of the Ocean dub outside the requisite memes, but even I know how iconic that narration was. There's an entire generation of kids who had "Next time on Dragon Ball Z!" permanently stuck in their heads. Rest in peace.

I still fondly remember his narration for the original DBZ dub. RIP Doc Harris.

The Dragon Ball franchise's narrators are cursed. Latin American Spanish and Japanese ones are already dead. Doc Harris' passing is the part of that curse. Rest in peace, man!

The Ocean dub on Fox Kids syndication was my first exposure to DBZ as a kid so Doc Harris was the first voice I associate with the dub narrator. I also enjoyed his performance as Golem in Monster Rancher which never seemed to catch on like Pokemon and Digimon but still has a devoted cult following to both the anime and games.
