From what I've seen so far, this anime looks really promising. I really like this and I'm really excited for it's premiere. I hope it's soon.

Of course! One of the director is a lifetime fan of Fate! He likes the series so much and I am sure that he will make the adaptation perfect! I hope for 24-26 episodes to air!!

Does it have a release window yet? The prologue seemed very promising.

IF anyone is worried about watching previous Fate series before this, the only ones that can be said to be a must are ufotable's Fate/Stay Night UBW series, Fate/Stay Night HF movie trilogy and Fate/Zero, and Cloverworks's Fate/Grand Order:Babylonia.

There are too many characters in Strange Fake whose character and development rely on established characters from those(including their own characters in those).

TROYCA's Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files series and A-1's Fate/Apocrypha can also enhance Strange Fake's experience but arent that necessary .

And yes Flat as a character is in Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files but his introduction(and of adult Waver/Lord El-Melloi II) was in Strange Fake 6 years before Case Files was a thing.

I haven’t read Strange Fake, but saw the prologue before finishing FGO:Babylonia and enjoyed it [far more than most of Babylonia] despite having to guess at things about various character backgrounds from context, so just saying that anyone reading this tries Babylonia and doesn’t like it, imho it’d be far better to skip it and watch Strange Fake than to give up on both.

I personally found large chunks of the Babylonia story and dialogue pretty painful to get through, though I actually really liked the ending. (I had a fairly similar reaction to the FGO Camelot movies.)
