Guess that explains how much influence the Ayer film had on the series.

While I know he said that they didn’t take into account all of James Gunn’s characterizations (he did make the superior Suicide Squad film), it is clear that enough happened to use some of the concepts. The only difference between Isekai King Shark and TSS King Shark is Stallone voicing the latter for example.
