Who will be the new successor for the Minnie Mouse right now? I feel sorry for her roles, but good thing that she managed to finish the recording line for the Kingdom Hearts 3 game before her death. RIP Taylor

We lost both Russi and Yuko Mizutani (the Japanese dub of Minnie Mouse).

RIP to a figure in all our childhoods. At least she’s with her Wayne now.

They’ll probably host auditions and cast soon afterwards. For all we know it could just be some unknown person with no other acting experience (Bret Iwan, the current voice of Mickey, worked at Hallmark before he got the role).

if they are going to kill off every Simpsons character because the voice-actor dies,they should just cancel it now.None of the main voice cast are exactly young anymore(and Harry Shearer almost quited because he wanted an even bigger payment than he already gets,and he voices pretty much half of the recurring cast...),and if they want to keep the show running for another 30 years,it's imperative they look for and train successors for a not so distant future.I mean,Disney is not going to retire Minnie,they will carefully look for someone who can respect Russi's performance.

Unlike the character of Ms. Krabapplel, Troy McClure, and Lionel Hutz, I don't think they will retire Martin Prince, and Sherry and Terry. More than likely Nancy Cartwright, Pamela Hayden, Tress MacNeille, or Maggie Roswell will take over the parts. The Simpsons will make a few tribute episodes for Russi Taylor and will quietly have the characters Russi voiced appear with new voice actors.

It's sad to hear this. Russi Taylor passing away. I remember her from the original "Ducktales" series. I've heard her in a ton of other stuff. Well,RIP Miss Taylor. You'll be missed and missed a lot.
