This would rock so much if I were Canadian. ;_;

This reminds me, anyone seen the Air Master dub? I've been unsure of whether or not to buy the DVDs (due to them apparently sucking; I would've bought them immediately otherwise), but if the dub is good, I might as well go ahead.

I remeber hearing somewhere that the dvds were Dubtitled, that is, the subtitles were exactly the same as the Dub, rather than a slightly more accurate translation like they normaly are... I don't think I approve of that, though I wouldn't mind versions of the subtitles. (duh)

...Also is it just me, or is strange for Canada to get a series that the US doen't?

Man I used to think that show was terrible
till my friend pointed out look its a big parody of fighting games and fighting anime. Dont expect it to be a high level title.
Then I rewatched it with that in mind and damn its funny esscaly the later on eps with the obvius Virtual Fighter Inspired character.

Well, it was dubbed in Toronto, meaning it is partial Canadian Content and can be scheduled a little more freely. That's probably why Razer went for it over, say, Samurai Champloo.

Although I don't get MTV Canada, I'm really looking forward to this since we'll finally have a station that might be willing to air anime that skews a little higher than the 12-17 audience YTV goes for. Not to mention that a little competition will keep YTV from being so sloppy... in this week's episode of .hack//SIGN, all of the on-screen text from the "real world" scenes was completley untranslated.

Not to mention that it means CHUM is giving anime a chance again, and they also own SPACE.

How much does CHUM own up there? When I was in Buffalo, NY we even got some CHUM owned radio stations. I also read they have a stake in Sirius Satellite Radio.

How can CHUM "rebrand" a youth lifestyle channel that, as far as I can tell, didn't exist before this announcement?

EDIT: Oh, sorry, missed the part about MTV right at the bottom... so Canada goes back to being a country without an MTV-brand channel?

Yeah, but... do we really need an MTV station? This new station already sounds quite a bit more promising than MTV Canada.
