There's a release that probably doesn't belong here on ANN: release#284
As far as I see it, Miffy was created by Dick Bruna of the Netherlands. Geneon must have picked it up due to similarities with Sanrio's Hello Kitty brand, and Miffy is just as popular as the iconic cat in Japan as well. I wonder what studio was involved in the actual production, to see if it counts as anime? The Miffy.com website also shows a DVD release with a Japanese cover (with text), but who knows if it's an exclusive made for Japan release or a translation on something existing? The current contact for Miffy in the U.S. is Big Tent Entertainment, while the contact in Japan is Dick Bruna Japan Inc. Some info on this is also on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miffy EDIT: I did some digging, and some of the animated titles were coproduced by Kodansha in association with Dick Bruna Japan, so can be considered anime.
