Nice of them to add the movie in this set along with the CPM extras. The price may be a bit much but with the amount of content it has along with it being in 6 discs, it's understandable so i'm still buying when i have the money.

Despite Utena being one of my favorite series, I actually haven't even gotten around to getting these sets yet. Now that I know this ain't comin' until December, though, I know I've got plenty of time.
And I've never seen the movie, so that's cool too.

I think that I will be ordering these. I've only seen snippets of random episodes but Utena seems to be a universal favorite and gets consistantly good reviews, so I think I can justify spending the money.

I give Right Stuf/Nozomi props for making the decision to include the movie with the final Revolutionary Girl Utena box.
When I saw Utena, it was through checking out copies of the Geneon box sets through my local library system. For me, it was a little frustrating that Geneon had included the movie with the first set, since I hadn't seen the whole series yet. However, I did end up watching the movie while I had the first box checked out, because I didn't want to have to check that box out a second time just to watch the movie.

Utena was licensed by Central Park Media, not Geneon.

You're correct on that. So, I should say that I was frustrated with CPM packaging the film with the first box set instead of the third.
Sorry for the mistake in my original post. Sigh. Lesson for me: Don't post right before going to bed after having a long and busy day...

Nozomi has added $30 to its MSRP for the final Utena set, which I think is a little pricey for a DVD movie, but that's a minor gripe.

This set also has 15 episodes as opposed to sets 1 and 2 having 12 episodes each, so there's that as well.

Nozomi is cranking out these spectacular sets but the aliasing/jaggies issues for this TV release really bug the hell out of me (which is a fault of the original remastered source, not Nozomi) On a component and HD setup it's especially bad, composite somewhat less so because of the softer picture.
Anyone here have any recommendations for how to set it up to somewhat minimize the jaggies on a component setup?

For those curious about what the ring looks like:
I've only watched the first two episodes, but I have the third set on preorder, and I'm looking forward to getting this. $10 says it doesn't fit a majority of the people getting it. Not like I'd wear it anyways.
Thanks to WTK for finding this
