When I click on a news story (i.e., one that appears on the central column of the home page, with title, description,etc.) the page does not fully load. My browser states "Document done," but over half of the page is missing. The far right column, which contains recent reviews and images thereof, never extends below the first one and a half images. The main body is completely blank, with no title at all. It used to work fine, but has only recently begun this. Did ANN perform some sort of upgrade that my browser cannot read(Netscape 4.2, if I'm not mistaken), and if so, how can I remedy the situation?

Yes, the problem has persisted. So my knowledge of the headlines is only as far as the subtitles go.

hmmm.... could you possibly take a screenshot, or do a "view -> page source" (probably different for your browser) and give us a copy of where it cuts off for you [or IF it cuts off for you]?

BTW: Netscape 4.2 is ancient. Can't you upgrade to a newer version, or a different browser, like Mozilla or it's lightweight cousin, Firebird? Moz/FB are the open-source versions of Netscape.

If you can run NS4.2, you should be able to run Firebird without too much hastle.

(i wonder if this glitch has any relevance to the encyclopedia comparison error under Mozilla...)

I'm afraid there's not much I can do about my browser. I'm using a Micron Millenia Pro 2 computer (PII 250 Mhz, 3 GB hard drive, 32 Mb RAM, 28.8 K modem, Windows 95[earliest edition], etc.) There's either not enough space for a new version, or it's just too plain advanced. (Building a new computer, but it may be several months before I can write all the programming and get all the parts.)
