I'm in complete agreement with every point Caitlin makes on this one, even her conclusion, and graded it in a similar range. It was fun enough I'd definitely watch a sequel, but I don't consider it a high priority for a rewatch.

I quite enjoyed this show until the plots showed up, but the villains were just everything I hate in bad guy writing and sucked all the fun out of it. I appreciated the angle where he constantly respects their ability to actually challenge him, but that wasn't enough.
I still give it a lot of points for having a relatively fresh angle on all the tropes it's messing around with.

Being clear here, I'd like a second season. The fusion of fantasy and cyberpunk is one I always found fascinating, ever since I watched Silent Mobius over a decade ago.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Takahashi-chan big moment from the 3rd vol so count me in for an eventual S2 but i'm already glad the novel didn't get discountinued after its hiatus as long we can at least continue this way i'm fine too.

This series definitely needs a season 2, ASAP. I went into it just because it had a cool looking vibe and theme, but was completely sucked in. Definitely a hidden gem of the Fall 2024 Season.

One of the best anime of the already stacked fall 2024 season.

As a LN reader too, I'm also looking forward to seeing best girl (fight me!) Sihlwald on screen so count me in as well! Not to mention that the climax of Vol. 3 is the most epic battle in the series so far IMO. I really like how the each volume of the LN is set in a different city.

I greatly enjoyed this wacky cyberpunk fun mishmosh mainly because of the leads: Veltol, Machina, and Takahashi and the character designs plus the Japanese voice work. It filled a niche since there hasn't been something like this I've enjoyed in a while. A solid all around B+ for me.
