its surpriding that ascendant animation is dubbing any works from anime festa considering that a majority of their works, especially this one has an uncensored hentai version.
i mean this isnt the 90's anymore when dub companies could have gotten away with that ala KITE as well as MEZZO FORTE, and not have it as a stigmata to both the company and its dub VAs!
so its going to be very interesting to see if wether or not AA is going to dub even its R18 version!

You must not be familiar with Ascendant Animation, because the majority of the anime it dubs come from Anime Festa. AA even goes as far as offering the uncensored versions on home video (burn-on-demand BDs, to my knowledge), while the censored versions are available on streaming services like Amazon.
It's honestly tougher to name anime that Ascendant Animation has localized that aren't from Anime Festa or offer an "uncensored" version.

no kidding. especially since their are rarely any atudios that would license any series that have R18 like content. media blasters and its sister hentai studio kitty media would have been my first guess, but their more or less on their last legs considering that they mainly publish live action asian shows and the only anime they publish are those that are already licensed, or hentai from milky pctures!
however with its owner on his last legs too, its only a matter of time before MB closes up shop either by choice or by being purchased and liquadated by crunchyroll ala what they did to rights stuff / nozomi animation!

The whole point of OceanVeil is to license this sort of too-hot-for-Crunchyroll stuff. Arguably, they’re not competing with Crunchyroll or HIDIVE at all, they’re competing with Fakku. That said, I think most or all of their other titles are subs, so a simuldub is surprisingly ambitious for a brand-new company.

only new in name. Ascendant has been dubbing these porn shorts for WWWave Corporation/animefesta/coolmic/Ocean Veil, whatever you want to call them at this point, for about 4 years now. Sameday was bound to happen at some point and they are barely 5 mins in length

Not to get off topic, but for real? Man, I'd hate to see Media Blasters go. I bought so many of their titles back in the day. All the other big 90s publishers.are gone, with the exception of Viz. It's going to be the end of an era when they're gone.
