Thought they'd want to do New Testament's first season before a new Railgun, but I guess not. This and the ITEM spin-off also coming before the Mental Out anime also surprised me

Not that surprising. Railgun has been consistently good while they completely botched the 3rd season of Index. |

i am still mostly shocked we're gettin Item so soon only 3 volumes of the LN out so far

to Answer that 3 comes to mind, Negima, Umineko and Hayate the Combat butler, but doing negima anything less then 100 epsiode is gonna be tough, and Umineko and Hayate would need 100 - 150 episodes. But back to Toaru, i am so glad to see this franchise coming back in anime form, i hope NT get's an anime at some point. |

the staff was forced to cram everything into 2 cour they wanted to have 3 cours, they only got 2 extra episode. still does not end the finish result. but i feel like people sometimes forget they troed tp do it justice but was not allowed. tho i think doing index NT is gonna be tough since there is no break in the last half of that show, with the fact that Touma spoiler[]Does not get any sleep from the end of volume 14 all the way to midway in volume 20, and this is across 3 arcs] |

Doing NT is a disaster waiting to happen. You know they'll want to end it at a big moment which means cramming in 10 books. I'm a huge Index fan, but the break neck pacing really crushed the delivery. Tone and characters from Mental Out I think are similar to Railgun so that might be a reason not to make those too close to one another, and this next Railgun arc was made quit a bit earlier. I would rather have Mental Out over Item myself. |

Great, how? That shit was a confusing mess almost all the way through. Even just my own thoughts aside, many people have said that season 3 was poorly adapted. |
