Whoa, so I'm not familiar with Chiptune other then their massive resume list of anime they've been involved in. I can't say what and how this might give Kadokawa an edge.

While it's not really an bleeding edge deal, supporting studios are still in demand - especially when we're talking about Kadokawa, which always pumping the animation projects and need a steady production lines for them to not crumble.
