Was so ready to buy a ticket to this but then two things. First, the tickets are bonkers expensive. Maybe just here? Western NA. $250+ a pop. Second, checked a promotional video of the cast singing Moonlight Densetsu (Perhaps or probably not the same cast as would be performing in my location but it was linked by the show,) and the vocals were totally lacking. Sounded like girls at karaoke with minimal skills, not remotely suited to a musical. Granted, the songs aren't musical quality either but that's again more of a reason not to go..
The review makes it sound like a really fun time. Ah, to see Venus in the flesh... But only if she can sing well enough to justify the price of a ticket......

Curious if I'll be able to snag a ticket for LA once they go on sale in a week or so. Sounds like it'll be a different vibe from Le Mouvement Final, which I caught during a movie theater event and really enjoyed.
If I can't make it or afford it, I'm at least hoping these are successful enough that we start seeing more of these stage productions make it out west.

You sure you're not looking at the VIP pricing? I got two two pretty good (i.e., rear orchestra) seats for a Midwest show for less than $200 total.

It must be the location (and possibly VIP) because I'm going to a midwest show and I'm sitting in the center towards the front and tickets were $85/each. VIP in the very front was only $120.

Have checked again and indeed found way better prices this time, between $75 and $150 for near the stage. I don't know what I was looking at before and I was so sad lol.... Glad I complained and other commenters suggested checking again! Maybe indeed was looking at VIP. Bless

Guessing it is very much location based, as the New York performances, to get any tickets $100 or under each, require you to sit halfway back in the mezzanine... so obviously it being NYC is driving the prices up and why I am not going when I wanted to as travel costs to/from NYC for me (local bus company, round trip is about $110-$120 as I live 90 minutes from NY but REFUSE to drive to or in NYC) and the need for an overnight NYC hotel stay make it financially unfeasible...
