I hope that it is an Over the top film Remenicient of G.I.Joe A Real American Hero and G1 Transformers. I would like to see The Rock return as Roadblock, a Snake Eyes that keeps his mask on and as good a Storm Shadow as the actor from the first 2 G.I. Joe films! Also bring back Scarlett! Maybe John David Washington as Stalker. His Dad Denzel can play a General!

It will be over the top but the same way the previous movies were. If we are ever going to get a good movie they're going to have to reboot from scratch and ignore everything that has come before while also using the comics as source material. |

Though I don't understand why they're referring to the 80s crossover specifically, there's been a lot of crossovers since then. There's no real need to base it on any previous story when it'll likely feature a new cast of characters or at least a barely recognizable version of the same cast. Emerje |

Well the shared universe between Transformers and Joe is pretty much the hottest thing in comics right now, and if you’re going to have human soldiers, they might as well be names people care about.

I guess Hasbro finally realized the best way to sell G.I. Joe is by attaching it to Transformers.

I remember an episode of them crossing over in the old G1 cartoon, or at least Cobra Commander pops up for a cameo. I guess fighting evil alien robots is probably one of the least controversial thing they can do with G.I. Joe. I still feel Bumblebee was the only good live-action Transformers film though.

Yeah, that was him disguised as "Old Snake" as if he were in Metal Gear or something. Flint also makes an appearance thanks to his and Lady Jaye's daughter, Marissa Faireborn, being a reoccurring character. Emerje |

My only issue is that there was no GI Joe movie before this crossover.
Is Snake Eyes a part of this crossover universe? Who knows... Hopefully it is clearer when closer to filming |
