As a die-hard Pokemon trainer who's been striving to be the very best like noone ever was for the past 25 years and a major Ed fan, this is a dream come true for me. I've been blasting the song since it was released this morning.

Pokemon buddying up with one of the most boneless, flavorless pop acts out there right now is really on brand.

Literally anybody. I know Pokemon likes to go with the safe option, but Ed Sheeran makes music for people who enjoy a snack of unsalted crackers in between meals of Wonder Bread slices.

I went to an Ed Sheeran concert in 2018, and he himself admitted onstage that he had no idea what was going on when he made that cameo in Game of Thrones.
Well buddy, you just outdid yourself.

People with no taste who are scared by even the slightest hint of spice or soul in anything they touch.
