In a nutshell: "What if Deku tried out for the team from Ace of Diamond?"
The first chapter is a nice read just based on the overall competence of the execution, but it's honestly the twist at the end that makes it work. Now if it can just make it past 19 chapters...
EDIT: Oh, the Japanese title was "Kowloon's Ball Parade," and I think I actually saw that title used in MangaPLUS before it reappeared with the current title. Wonder why they changed it?

Same with Phantom Speer which the Japanese title it's actually "Honomieru Shounen".
Is everyone know why Viz changed MC's last name from MASHLE "Mash Van Dead" to "Mash Burndead" in English version? Isn't Mash's last name in Japanese version is "Van Dead"? And same with "Loid" and "Yor" on SpyXFamily, which their names used to be "Lloyd" and "Yoru" but Viz changed their names due to copyright reasons if I heard correctly. Viz sucks.

Loid and Yor were the original names. Note that even in the Spanish version of chapter 3, that's what it says on the birth certificate -- I'm pretty sure the same is true of the original Japanese.

The Kanji for Kowloon do mean Nine Dragons and the series is about a team of nine players/dragons as a Jump editor revealed on Twitter. We have met the first two dragons in the first chapter and will meet the other seven dragons in the upcoming chapters.

There weren't any copyright issues that I'm aware of with either of those examples. Sometimes when translating series for simulpub the translator will have to make their best guess on how to romanize names or certain terminology because there's not enough time to wait for clarification from the author or editor. Especially in series with a lot of non-japanese names like SXF and Mashle.

Like others said, not copyright. It's the official spelling. They were guessing before it was made clear in the manga, and I believe the author also clarified it.
Sometimes you only find out to write a character's name when the merch comes out (and even then sometimes there's inconsistent merch lol...)
