Lol I was too focused on Miku to notice Kyary. Pretty crazy time we live in.

How she's gonna perform? She's not even a human.

Guessing Miku will be an evening performance. The way her shows are done wouldn't really work well during the day.

She also appeared on David Letterman towards the end of his show and doing 1 of the Closing songs for Watamote.

Recently she also did the ED for Kemurikusa. And of course the OP for Black Rock Shooter.

Rage Against The Machine gets to share the stage with an actual machine. I'm afraid we're still in the Matrix.

I wonder how they're going to do it, if they'll reuse the projection screen/glass from Miku Expo USA or opt for a bigger one, because the Coachella stages seem to be significantly larger than the ones she's used to performing here in the US...

Mixed feelings about this. I remember being excited when they said Miku would appear/perform on Letterman, but after seeing the clip from the show, I thought it was cringey and a terrible representation of the potential of Vocaloid. I don't know if it was the quality of the video, or the choice of song, but it just sounded like horrible high pitched noise.
But then again, I find most Hatsune Miku songs have her tuned to an annoying high pitch where you can hardly make out the words. I'm more of a fan of Megurine Luka's husky tones (although I dislike when some producers tune her to be as annoyingly high pitched as Miku) or Vocaloid songs with a more natural sound.
With that said, I have been to a Vocaloid concert (Miku Expo 2017 Malaysia) and had a lot of fun and greatly enjoyed the show and the atmosphere. Not that I'll be going to Coachella, but I do hope they do something similar and choose appropriate songs.
