I'm surprised G-Wrecko is on the list as it is probably the lowest-rated Gundam series to date.

The 20th anniversary of Evangelion in October likely had a factor with it getting the top sale last week.

Not surprising given how poorly structured the season was. No central narrative, no reason to care. A lack of quality doesn't necessarily correlate to a drop in sales, but it can certainly help. |

I know Oricon does not count amazon.co.jp sales, but 22k BD boxes for Evangelion seems kind of low to me.

They acteally do. Most sales are from Amazon for most Series. |

It seems there were stocking issues with the Evangelion BD-box, so it might still add a significant amount of sales in the coming weeks.
Just the usual sales attrition between volumes, but a third season looks very unlikely. While the first one averaged over 6.7k, the second one will be lucky to average over 4k. |

I don't think those sites matter when it comes to what Japan will be buying. Even, then, this Gundam is selling a lot less than most other Gundam series. |

Nice to see OreGairu TOO doing well. Really hope that we can get a 3rd (and hopefully final) season. Of course, gotta wait on the novels, but I would love to see this series have its ending animated.

If you recall, during it's airing, there has been talk (even from that Gainax guy) about how confusing it's story was. |
