Jesus more MC-meets-mysterious-girl kind of story huh. Don't get a lot from the synopsis, but the PV looks good. Not sure, may or may not watch this.

Blame? Don't you mean credit? IS season 1 was a huge hit. The fact that he took a mediocre light novel and made an anime adaption that not only sold incredibly well itself but made the LN's popularity sky rocket is a pretty big achievement. That the series started to tank afterwards shows that it wasn't a hidden gem that they just happen to discover. I mean seriously that author... he has no idea what he is doing. |

oh dear... I hope those are the only similarities. The song is pretty nice and so are the character designs. The synopsis doesn't inspire much though. |

I'm still waiting for them to make the announcement of why the story is called "Comet Lucifer". It's also nice to see some more original anime being made. An advantage it has of not being based off of a game, LN, manga is that you don't have to worry about fillers/story changes.
