That's nice, but I'm really hoping for Memories of Celceta to make it onto Steam.

Since it was built from the ground up for Vita, that's extreme unlikely to happen. I'm pretty sure all of the Falcom games Xseed has been releasing on PC in English were originally released on PC in Japan. We just never got those versions until now. |

Ys Seven was originally on the psp, but that got a a pc port. In China. So, it's possible. Not likely. But possible. For China. Maybe. Sentence fragments. |

Akiba's Trip is getting a Steam port? Now that's one I didn't see coming. I already have it on the Vita, so I guess it's time to double-dip.

Many J-games don't get released on PC in Japan since Japan doesn't have much of a PC game industry. But they release for the PC in the West since the West does have a sizable PC game industry to make money on. (Steam alone has grown to 125 million active users - imagine the entire population of Japan playing on Steam!) |

While this is true most of the time, Falcom specialized in PC games up until just recently. As I said, the PC versions of these Falcom games from Xseed aren't new (although some have been enhanced), they all originated on PC in Japan before later being ported to PS2/PSP, which were the only versions we were getting in English previously. Ys VI, for instance, debuted on PC way back in 2003. |

Akiba's Trip
Akiba'sTrip Akiba Strip ...I can't believe I've only realized that now.
That Catastrophe Mode fascinates me. I've been wanting a JRPG where you can't just grind and heal up at the free inn repeatedly. A game which actually has a closed economy, where you have to consider carefully how you use your resources. I might have to check that out. |

it's alright. didn't finish the game though-- didn't like having to walk back and forth without any way to just teleport to the areas i already explored.. so i dropped it |
