This is a pretty interesting concept and I really like the fact only certain people can make polls. Last thing Zac or any other moderator needs is another headache. If only more CEO's were like you Tempest in the respect that you actually listen to others ideas and not only that, actually set them in them in motion. I've seen tons of CEO's talk big (via television or magazine) and use the "right" words, but in some cases, it's just talk without action.
I look forward to reading and maybe making a poll myself eventually. But I've got to say, this could potentially be very entertaining or educational to some degree.

Can we get cosplaying dancers for these polls?

Depends, are they dancing to Fock Of Seagulls "I Ran" or Men Without Hat's "Safety Dance"? There is a reason I choose those two songs out of thousands, but I wonder if anyone will get why?
Technically though, some of the Emoticons look like they are dancing and I could of sworn we had a chicken emoticon several years ago.

Honestly speaking, I still don't. Enlighten me, please.

Cue light bulb.

Dang, that there is comedy gold. I'll admit, I didn't get it the first time either. Very well done PJ, certainly was well timed.

Damn, this topic got derailed really freakin' quickly. That's gotta be a record or something, PJ.
Just for the sake of being relevant, it actually took me a few seconds to realize that this had been added. I clicked on it and looked at the lack of topics and was like, "Wait...wait, this wasn't before.....right?" Shows how slow I can be on the uptake.
I think it'll be pretty cool, since you almost never see polls on this board.

Not to go off topic too much, but you just gave me a great idea for a subscriber custom rank. The "derailer". In a world of socialization, one man aims to mix things up a bit. But I've already created a custom rank, so I don't think your allowed to make another.
But like Sanosuke_Inara, I just wonder this thread yesterday. I am not sure how long this forum has been active, but I do know this was around yesterday. It's a pretty interesting concept really, it could make for some interesting and potentially hilarious conversation. Haven't read a comedy gold thread in a while and this might be the perfect chance to read one eventually.

You know what, that does sound cool. I've heard of masters of disasters, but not Master Derailer. Pretty original even.

I'm honestly not all that excited about this new forum (though it may turn to be fun), but I DO very much appreciate the fact that the ANN staff not only listens to the members but is willing to give some of our ideas a try now and then.
I know you mentioned you had been thinking about this idea too, but it's still nice to see something from the "Feature Requests" area get implemented.
Thanks.

I'm getting the feeling this forum's about to be decorated with a "RIP" sign, given how active it's been.
Probably a good thing those dancers weren't made available as they'd have nothing to do.
I was hoping my inbox would be filled with tons of requests in making polls for non-subscribers.
They would have looked good with all the hate PMs.

Most people who enter the forum don't scroll down. To see the poll forum you have to scroll down.
Well, it'll probably get going someday.
Most of my initiatives come from when I'm drunk, and lately I haven't been having the pleasure to do that often. Otherwise I'd probably have 7 running. Most of them very biased, though.
