Odin - Photon Space Sailer Starlight (movie)
I did not see any other place for commentary on this film; I hope it is okay that I started a new thread. The Odin: Photon Sailer Starlight movie was a clear attempt by Yoshinobu Nishizaki to cash in on Yamato again without calling it Yamato. Granted, in Yamatao 2520 he tried to do the same thing and called it Yamato, but Leiji Matsumoto sued. Still, I was wondering if anyone could consider Odin to some degree as existing within the same canonity as the Yamato world. Considering it consists of such similar topics, I consider it to be within the Space Battleship Yamato timeline to at least some degree. |
