THE LONG AWAITED DAY HAS FINALLY COME!!!
I have been wanting to see more of Watase's work animated for years. While I admit, I actually haven't read any of this one (yet), I am still super thrilled to see it happen. Now we just need Genbu Kaiden to wrap up so it can be animated as well. And then maybe some of her older stuff (I know, probably not, but a girl can dream). |

You misspelled television in the blurb where it lists the other series of Yuu's that have been animated.
And seriously, moe heroine much? |

Wow. I thought Arata had become the most likely Yuu Watase series to get an anime adaptation, but this is still a surprise since it's been so long since any of her manga have been adapted into anime. Even though I've read six volumes of this series and found the story a bit underwhelming, I definitely want to see more Watase works animated (especially Genbu Kaiden). Thus, I'll be watching to see how this anime turns out.

Quit your complaining. If cute characters bothers you so much stop watching this kinds of anime. There are anime with ugly characters, if you are into those kinds of stuff. The female characters are cute because they appeal to a wide range of people (I am one), from elementary school students to adults, which makes them buy the manga. Of course just by having attractive characters doesn't make them buy it, but it does boost the sales. Get that through your head. |

Well I am getting sick and tired of people going around complaining about how bad moe is. They think their opinion is fact and that whoever like moe has bad taste (well most of them). |

Reading the description (I've never read this manga), isn't the "moe heroine" in the picture actually a trap? I'm assuming the princess looking one is the alien boy. Emerje |

First off, allow me to say, "Suh-weeeet!!!"
Secondly, am I missing something major here??? I've read most of the manga and it features a HERO, not a heroine. And I'm not sure that I'd call him "moe" either, although he's kinda cute. But then again, ah, "hello, people" we are talking about Watase-sensei here. Aren't all her charas on the kawaii-side??? o_O Dude, don't make me question reality this much!!! |

Yuu Watase = Shoujo Author, even if Arata is a "shonen" the art style is still predominantly shoujo, maybe the inking is different but still you can see the fushigi yuugi all over.
Shoujo = Cute = Moe It's just basic math guys. It's not a rant as much as pointing out the obvious. |

I....don't know how I feel about the art style adaptation Something seems kinda chunky or off. Maybe it's the hair, I dunno... Either way, I'm super excited for this new! I'm a huge Watase fan and anything of her getting animated just makes my day! (Though I do wish she's get back to Genbu Kaiden...) |
