isn't one piece getting a new opening in about 9 more episodes? is this song a game exclusive, or might this end up as the new opening?
i mean, is it common for video games to get their own exclusive opening themes?

Almost every anime oriented game I know of has its own opening song.

i've played a lot of them, too, but it seems like they tend to use themes from the series itself, or original instrumentals:

i've seen a lot of non-anime-related jrpgs get them before, but, eh, either way, very cool. nice to see one piece game developers realizing they can have a serious hit when they put effort into making a decent, fan-pleasing game.

seems like they're kind of wasting time making this new anime footage for a psp game, the quality is going to be degraded no matter how good they make it look.
