I myself much prefer to divert myself with nothing but the view when on a train. I could perhaps be more productive, but my state of mind when aboard public transportation is removed from both that of recreational relaxation and worthwhile concentration; inadequate for being either productive or receptive. (Plus I suffer from motion sickness.)
The original Appleseed OVA looks like something I should enjoy- it's Shirow, it's 80's and therefore it ought to be a delectable slice of cyberpunk. Alas everyone who's actually seen it continues to advise otherwise. |
