As It was reported by a close friend of mine who is living in japan right now:
To celebrate the release of Ninja Scroll Blu-ray. Cine Libre Ikebukuro hosted a premiere for the Ninja Scroll movie as a late night show on 14th of April. A talk-show has been conducted before the premiere with the movie director Kawajiri Yoshiaki. Kawajari talked about the old days of making Ninja Scroll and how cell films making are differing from the current digital films making. During the talk, Kawajiri hinted about a possibility of a new work. After the end of premiere, a new trailer was shown for a new anime for the Ninja Scroll frenchise. No details have been given regarding the trailer; but it could be a hint for a new sequel for Ninja Scroll. We still need to hear more details about the new anime but but knowing about the trailer made my day. I also hope that Kouichi Yamadera will reprise his role as Jubei. Still just a bunch of hearsay without any credible sources. As much as I'd like to hear official news, I'm willing to wait for actual press releases.
