Great news. I guess the anniversary explains why they chose to do it so many years after it finished.

I think it's cool that they really send Japanese players to America to study abroad just like Rukawa wanted to do!

However, it makes me wonder how many tall players Japan can churn out to really compete in the NCAA. Japan is not known for height. Oh well, good luck to them.

It's not really about being ridiculously tall, there are plenty of players who have made it to the NBA and are under 6 feet.

However, I have my doubts about EVER seeing a Japanese in the NBA, MAYBE a lower NCAA team, somewhere in Division II.

Either way, it's great that Japan has a better view of basketball, and Slam Dunk was a great promoting tool.

Man...Master Takehiko Inoue should have continue drawing the manga for Slam Dunk. I am really curious on how Sakuragi improved after his back ache and also how did Shohoku came out in the winter competition. Really intrigued!!!

Plus I want to know when will Sakuragi confess his love to Haruko and what is her reply.

Man...I am in love with the manga and anime. Both are outstanding piece of work!
