I read something on ANN on something about Trigun something. It could have been a movie but i dont know. Said something about a squel, it was around April so it could have been the April fool joke they made (I still remember it in my nightmares). I think i'm probaly wrong but i jsut want to make sure.

It may have been about the manga continuation, Trigun MAXIMUM. There is no Trigun movie or animated sequel in the works. The first series diverged drastically from the manga if I remember correctly, and had a rather conclusive ending, so there's really not much they can do from the point they left off at (that wouldn't completely suck).

I'. sorry to inform you, but you are mistaken. The Trigun anime was complete and rather conclusive. I believe it would be possible to creat a Trigun 2 that would be entertaining.Perhaps Vash raising Knives, teaching him of humanity?
spoiler[I don't believe he killed Knives. Vash shot him in non leathel places. I believe he injured him so that without the regenarator plants Knives would never be capable of useing his full power again. It is my beliefe that when rem said "Take care of knives" she didn't mean kill him, as people suggest, she meant teach him. as a mentor.] But while this is all quite possible, its inprobable, and there wouldnt be any philosophy in it that you havn't already heard in Trigun 1. And without the life lessons Trigun is but another anime about super powered beings. And add to that the age of the anime, it is even less likely. As Myrel said to Mily "Wishfull thinking only makes the truth more painful." PS: Hello and Greetings. |

spoiler[Ya, you're right, Knives is very much alive at the end.] And I see to need for a second season or movie. It was pretty conclusive. |

You mean "no need"? I agree. There is really no need for a second one. |

Oh, ya, my bad... Sorry. 'no need'
The first two Trigun manga are just called 'Trigun'. After that the title changes to 'Trigun Maximum', but it's the same series continued under a different name. |

Dark Horse released the thick versions, so the US version is two volumes. |

Honestly, I hope not. I was interested when I watched it the first time, but the second time I realized how thrown together the story was. I think this one is the poster child of animes that should've been made after the manga was finished. Maybe they could remake it right this time, but seems like a waste of effort.
