So I keep seeing lists of titles delayed... but nothing seems to say anything about Kingdom Hearts II vol 3? It was set for a release date of 12/30, but all the websites still say "pre-order" or "on order from manufacturer", still with a 12/30 release date. Sigh.

Oh, I hope they're telling the truth. VB Rose is the title I'm interested in, and less than half of the series has been released so far. I love the characters, and it's such a cute, funny manga.

I'm sure it's truth, especially in case of Aria and V.B. Rose. They just can't release everything on schedule cause they fired half of their staff...

I know the feeling of waiting a long time for a manga series one wants to collect. Tokyo Pop is in a very tight spot currently, I really hope the company is able find even ground soon. By even ground, I mean a finanical equilibrium.
There is postive news though, at least the titles weren't cancelled.

That's ADV, not Tokyopop.
The one title that I'm hoping for more than anything is 'Life.' I have the 9th volume but refuse to read it until I know when the next volume comes out, if at all.

Yeah, I really wish I could have a 'Life', too.

INVU
How long did we wait for Vol 4 & it's STILL not finished.
Under the Glass Moon. Never finishing, is it?
Bastard. Bought the 32 pg versions (along with CCS in this format), then the oversized volumes Viz put out which were cancelled when Viz went with the unflipped smaller version resulting in a months-long delay, & we''re getting about 3 volumes per yr, aren't we? I've been collectiong Bastard since around 2003 or 2004 (2002?) & we're still not finished.
Cyborg 009. GAteKeepers. 3X3 Eyes. Seraphic Feather

Yeah, right.
When we see them, I'll believe it.
They know they're pissing off their customers & they need to sell titles to stay in business. Most of us wouldn't start a title if we knew we'd never see the end.
Does TP care if we never finish the title?
They got our money for what they've published. Why should they care?
I'll buy the "delayed" line when some of those prior "delayed" titles show up (Satisfaction Guaranteed Vol 8 for example. Queen's Knight. BTx). All we seem to see is more titles being delayed.

I'm really hoping and praying that Life volume 10 comes out soon. I've been waiting since the day it was supposed to be released (September 9)

I'm happy to see VB Rose isn't cancelled. Granted, I take Tokyopop with a grain of salt now.
I'm *still* waiting for the 8th (and, I believe, final) volume of Gatcha Gacha. Not to mention the last four volumes of Never Give Up.
I still want to support Tokyopop but when they don't start up new series I'm interested in nor do they finish the ones I *am*, it makes you think twice as long before starting any titles with them.

My mistake, then. It's not always easy to tell from print alone

This is good news to me... I've been sending them e-mails about this--it would be a dealbreaker for me if Tokyopop were to discontinue series after we've been faithfully buying them. In my case, I'm waiting for the rest of:
Gatcha Gacha
Suppli
Seduction More Beautiful Than Love
I.N.V.U.
I was going to buy Queen's Knight last week, but then I recalled it was a Tokyopop title and decided not to. With things as they were, I didn't want to buy so many volumes only to never know what will happen in the end. I've had that happen with Honey Mustard and Under the Glass Moon, but from what I hear, that wasn't an issue with the publisher, but the author dropped the project for HM and the comic magazine for UtGM was canceled.
Another thing that bugs me is that Tokyopop just lets the license run out... Now you can buy all the volumes of some series except for one or two that are OOP. For example, Neck & Neck, Mars, Tramps Like Us. Some of those are $50 used at best. And the entire Sailor Moon series--what a waste. EBay only.
I hope they get their act together, or they risk losing a lot of customers who will feel betrayed by them. Viz, CMX, and Go!Comi haven't canceled any of the series I've collected from them... Hope Tokyopop can meet the same standard.
