Again, ADV makes the mistake of licensing a dead-end title that won't give them any returns, and on top of that, they're going to waste money on dubbing it. Koharu Biyori had nothing new that Chobits, DearS, or a million other ecchi robot maid anime didn't. Besides that, it wasn't even that good besides being a dumb one-time watch ecchi title.
No wonder ADV is dead.

ADV Employee - John this series isnt very good or it hasn't had any exposure very few people will buy it
John Ledford - Here have $70000 to license it
ADV Employee - But john I just said no 1 wants this
John Ledford - sorry what I cant hear you I have my head stuck up my..............

55 out of 80 people rated it good or better in the encyclopedia and the picture and synopis look and sound cute. I'd buy it just on that especially if it's dubbed, that's pretty much how I buy and judge to buy, so they can look forward to at least one sale.

I am . . . disappointed. Is this the big "wait till Otakon" anouncement that ADV was hyping a couple of months back? Please tell me this isn't the only upcoming anime title from ADV.

I've never expected that Attack Girl Swim Team vs. The Undead would have an American release. Attack girl is the crappiest and cheapiest movie I've ever seen, nevertheless a lot more fun than most harem shows. Attack girl has a surreal sense of humour, I'm not sure if American audience will understand many of its jokes. I watch it as a Mexican wrestlers movie, the fun is in the crap. Maybe it will like to zombies fans, B-movies fans, Japanese girls fans, softcore fans and yuri fans (yes, it has yuri and a lot more explicit than yuri shows)

Considering that they may not have anything to work with right now, maybe you should give them a little break. A quick ecchi title is probably cheap and can be expected to get a decent return from its fanbase. (If it's remotely like Chobits or DearS, which aren't very similiar by the way, then it should be a fun series.)
Considering the rather large hit they've taken lately, you can't expect them to be licensing huge hits. Hell, unless you've got a solicitation saying this is dubbed, I don't think you should consider that a done deal.
Also, since your next-to-last sentence shows you've watched it already, maybe it's not such a "dead-end" title. Why you watched it and I'm sure you buy a lot of anime DVDs right? Or are you just complaining about a license for a show you already watched on fansubs from a company you don't buy from anyway?

Yeah, but it's only 3 episodes long, and the MSRP will still be like $30. And I watched it because it was there, new, and 1 episode a month isn't that hard to follow. And on top of that, I watched episode 3 at 2x speed because I was getting bored of it. The only good thing in the entire series was the one bath scene that showed the mother's breasts for a few seconds, which still isn't any kind of achievement. There's better stuff that could have been licensed, and I'm not even talking huge titles here. Stuff like Moyashimon I'd buy in an instant.

Is "Attack Girl Swim Team vs. The Undead" what they're calling "Girls Rebel Force of Competitive Swimmers"? If so, they should have stuck with the original title. Either way though, it's an incredibly terrible movie. I couldn't even finish it, it was so stupid. It's basically just a softcore porn flick with some really horrendously bad attempts at blood and gore.

Eh, not really. On short series like this recouping dubbing costs is a lot easier. Assuming this comes out on one DVD and does moderately well, it shouldn't be a problem. And it won't do moderately well or very good unless it is dubbed. So really it is a no brainer on whether or not to dub this. I would be surprised if this doesn't get dubbed.
Now whether or not this does well regardless of a dub, is a different question entirely.

Good to hear I could like it, I thought the title sounded like an instant classic

Those live action titles would go well on one of Encore channels. Also, can you think of any major cash cows that aren't licensed already? Gintama is really the only one I can think of. Due to the legal stuff, I'll give ADV the benefit of a doubt on their new partner. They can't announce anything until the deal is finalized. But I do hope they announce something soon.

Actually, Indian Summer sounds pretty interesting. I'd love to see this get dubbed.

That's exactly it, even if it does have a dub, it has no chance of doing well, it's just not a good show worth your time or money. Maybe you could rent or legally download it somehow, but it's not worth more than $10 at the max unless you seriously love stupid, overdone, predictable, ecchi-robot-maid anime.

Do these live action titles even sell well? They are the only things that, don't really move off the shelves at the Best buys I visit. Even during a sale.
