Well, color me interested. Hopefully it will be more like Rahxephon or Wolf's rain and not like... pretty much anything they've done in the last 10 years or so...

I'm glad Utsumi finally gets to do her own thing. I hope they let her run wild.
Edit: I've heard rumors on twitter thats its a skateboarding anime called sk8. Utsumi sports anime hype!!

Yeah I sort of agree, there have only bee a few things that I really liked from them in the last decade; Space Dandy, Concrete Revolutio and Mob Psycho. I would love to see something like Wolf's Rain or anything else like their 00s titles.

Oh man, I'm really excited to see what this'll be! I've loved a lot of what they've done in the past, and Space Dandy was a more recent fave. Really can't wait to get further info~

I've generally not been a fan of BONES originals, but having a studio consistently take risks on them is appreciated.

Uh... well, Bones does usually make good stuff, but this is mostly just an announcement that there's going to be an announcement. Not much to go on.
If the rumor that it's a skateboarding anime is true, I'm probably gonna pass on that (have yet to find a sports anime I could stand). The date of that could just be a coincidence, though.

I hope Bones doesn't forget about Bungo Stray Dogs but I'm excited to see them do an original work after it seems like they've primarily focused on MHA the last few years. I also enjoyed the Banana Fish anime so I'm curious to see what the director's next work will be like.
