Holy Crap that is Awesome! MechaGodzilla unit 01 would definitely be more than a match for Godzilla make it happen.

Looks awesome! I wonder how well Godzilla will fare against his mechanical self.

We already found out in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974), Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II (1993), and Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla (2002) / Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) (sequel).
Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II (1993) is my all-time favorite Godzilla movie and I think I've seen them all. No relation to the 1974 movie which I thought was kinda meh.
My second favorite would have to be Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956).
I was very young when I first saw this and the ending left a big impact on me.
I still remember hunting down all the Godzilla VHS tapes at my local Blockbuster. Those were good times.

I brought this up elsewhere, but there's an irony to all this. See, I met the director of the 2000s MechaGodzilla movies. And when I asked if his kaiju bot was inspired by any anime mecha, he replied, 'No I have not seen Evangelion.'

Not to mention Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975), the sequel to the first Mechagodzilla movie and the last film of the Showa era.

Seriously, this is what they should make for the Godzilla movie after the new one. I wonder a Berserker Mode for this MechaGodzilla would look like.
