With how popular this has been lately(and rightfully so),it was inevitable it would get an anime.I'm just glad it's with a studio that'll make it look polished at least(even if it doesn't get a 2nd season)

If you're looking for a low stakes, relatively low drama, feel good type of romance, this is for you.

I know that was probably a pre-vis trailer but if it's any indication of what we can expect, plus having Cloverworks adapting it, then I think we're in for a great adaption.

Funny, I've been on the fence about picking it up over the past several weeks too, only recently deciding to give it a shot. Cute promo too.

I appreciate the extra clarifiction on how it is tywhoppity, definitely giving it a shot.

As someone who is reading the manga, please please give it a try, and I'm saying this as someone who usually isn't into romance stories. It's really good and the adaptation looks gorgeous.

I think the manga is fine, but I don't quite get the hype. The two leads are almost saint-like in their level of communication and emotional intelligence, so they don't really have conflicts to resolve. I don't remember it ever making me laugh either, so you're left with a story that mostly consists of people being nice to each other for chapter after chapter.

haven't read a super lot but I've enjoyed what I have read and am looking forward to reading more. Here's hoping the anime turns out well!

It's not that there are no conflicts, it's that conflicts don't last forever because of convenient misunderstandings, they get cleared up when the involved people talk it out. The leads and the rest of the cast aren't perfect either, they just have, to me, more relatable experiences and approaches to life, and that makes me more invested in following their story.

Good for it. Hopefully it doesn't get shat on by the toxic as fudge garbage community that is the animanga community.

I would rather have Cloverworks work on season 2 of My Dress-Up Darling already,
instead of getting new IPs and abandoning them all the time.

Read the first 20 chapters of this, and it was mediocre at best.
