Well, she looks real enough, but it's the movements that really shove it down the Uncanny Valley.

They're getting better than Kokoro Actroid's last attempts at "real" robotics back in the 00's, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3tcSlWLS_g
The new challenge for "canny" movement is to replicate how much humans don't blink that darn much.

" Asuna is a hyperreal android built to look just like your average 15 year old girl. "

I was actually referencing how...er, robotic her neck movements look. But yeah, the blinking looks kind of forceful. Humans don't blink quite as deliberately.

Asuna looks 20 but definitely is 95-98% close to a human at least in looks.

So is this similar to the other story about the 'real' flesh "sex dolls" that was mentioned on the net news a few days ago. This is just downright scary.

Within this establishment, there shall be no distinction between humans and robots.

This is one thing I am absolutely against. Call me paranoid, fanatic, or that I read too much, fine, but I'm a firm believer that just as technology progreses so must the humans progress toe in toe, this development here is way too realistic and it is downright creepy and it truly scares me.

Robots with intelligence? NO thanks, not at all.

Putting us one step closer to see a trend of romance android action, replacing werewolves and vampires.

before improving the look they should try to improve the movements (build the inside first and then make all the aesthetic improvements you want)

apart from the outside I must say those androids don't really seem to be improving....
it's like they're just trying to remaster an old version with a more "HD quality look" each time but you can perfectly see they're still all the same
